Classes Meet Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 6pm to 1am at Carnegie Hall, 881 7th Avenue, on the corner of 56th St. NY NY.
The Approach
Within
class students participate in exercises and techniques that allow them
to discover the truth of themselves in personal, meaningful, and
imaginative ways, which carries over into their scene work and
ultimately, to the truth of the characters they bring to life. For in
the end, how can one realize the truth of the character without first
knowing what it is like to live and behave from the gold of ones own
Truth. This is what all art springs from. The definition of acting
that Mr. Modica works from, which was handed down to him from Sandy
Meisner is, "Acting is the ability to live or behave truthfully under
imaginary circumstances."
